The Hanson Farm was purchased in 1941by\u00a0Robert Hanson\u2019s parents. \u00a0It is a 410-acre farm near Travilah and Quince Orchard Roads and the Hanson family still farms it today. \u00a0However they have plans to develop the property when Robert Hanson passes away. \u00a0The entire property is now re-zoned for one acre lots. \u00a0That would amount to about 187 houses and townhouses over 170 of the acres.<\/p>\n
The Hanson family has been incredible stewards of the land and are keeping NPCA apprised of their plans as they move along. \u00a0We will keep you posted as well.<\/p>\n
