The Hanson Farm was purchased in 1941by Robert Hanson’s parents. It is a 410-acre farm near Travilah and Quince Orchard Roads and the Hanson family still farms it today. However they have plans to develop the property when Robert Hanson passes away. The entire property is now re-zoned for one acre lots. That would amount to about 187 houses and townhouses over 170 of the acres.
The Hanson family has been incredible stewards of the land and are keeping NPCA apprised of their plans as they move along. We will keep you posted as well.
