Montgomery County has banned the sale of gas-powered leaf blowers and vacuums and starting next July, the use of such equipment. They are holding a webinar to talk about battery powered leaf blowers.
Starting July 1, 2025, the use of gas-powered leaf blowers and vacuums in Montgomery County will be prohibited. DEP has you covered to aid in the transition. On Thursday, October 24 at 7 p.m. DEP will be hosting a webinar where experts from the American Green Zone Alliance will share information on the use, care and maximizing efficiency of battery powered leaf blowers.
